- Easter is one of the most favourite holidays in our family. Every year we celebrate it with the whole family gathering around the table on Saturday evening or on Sunday morning. On Saturday evening we usually go to church and bring candles. Then we decorate the Easter table with the grass which we grow every year and put red coloured eggs and toy chickens in the green grass. The most favourite food for Easter in our family is coloured eggs and fish. I also help my mother and grandmother to prepare plaf with rice and raisins. Rice is the symbol of all the people in the world and raisins are symbols of Christians so we put much raisins in the plaf.
